Handyman Service Across San Angelo, TX

San Angelo sits in the Concho Valley where the North and South Concho rivers come together, a city of roughly a hundred thousand people that started as the village across the river from Fort Concho in 1867. Its housing tells the story in layers. Around downtown and the old fort are stone commercial buildings and some of the oldest frame houses in West Texas. Santa Rita, west of the river, filled in from the 1920s onward with bungalows, Spanish Revival homes and, later, brick ranches. After the war came the blocks of midcentury ranch houses around Angelo State, across the north side and out toward the Bluffs and Angelo Heights, and since the late 1970s the city has grown southwest toward Bentwood, Southland, Loop 306 and Lake Nasworthy, where most of the newer brick homes stand. One morning we may be easing a sticking door in a 1940s Santa Rita cottage; that afternoon we're mounting a TV in a three-year-old house off the Loop.

Getting around here means a handful of familiar routes: the Houston Harte Expressway carrying US 87 and US 67 across the north side, Loop 306 wrapping the south and west, Sherwood Way lined with shops out to Sunset Mall, Knickerbocker Road running down toward the lake, and Bryant Boulevard and Chadbourne Street through the older middle of town. The Concho River Walk, Santa Fe Park and the lights along the river at Christmas tie the center of the city together, while San Angelo State Park, O.C. Fisher, Twin Buttes and Lake Nasworthy ring the edges.

What San Angelo neighbors book most

Jobs we handle a lot in San Angelo

A typical week in town covers a lot of ground: drywall cracks and stuck doors where clay soil has moved a slab, faucets and toilets fighting hard-water scale, ceiling fans going up before summer, fence boards and gates repaired after spring wind, gutters cleared of pecan and live oak leaves, TVs and shelves mounted for newly arrived Goodfellow families, and make-ready lists for landlords between tenants.

Questions we hear around San Angelo

Do you cover the whole city?

Yes. That includes downtown and the Fort Concho area, Santa Rita and the river neighborhoods, College Hills and the streets around Angelo State, the Bluffs and Angelo Heights on the west side, Bentwood and Southland in the southwest, the Lake View and Paulann areas on the north side, and the neighborhoods near Goodfellow AFB on the southeast. If you have a San Angelo address, we've almost certainly worked a few blocks from you.

Do you work on rentals and student housing near ASU?

Yes. Between tenants or semesters we patch and paint walls, fix doors and hardware, repair running toilets and dripping faucets, replace blinds, smoke alarms and light covers, and knock out the small items a move-in inspection might catch. Give us the turnover date and we'll plan the visit backward from it.

Do you work in the evening or on weekends?

Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday slots are popular with people who work at Goodfellow, Shannon or the university. If your schedule is tight, tell us when you call and we'll find a window that works.

The San Angelo Way of Doing Business

Made for West Texas Weather

San Angelo swings from 100-degree afternoons in July to hard freezes in January, with dryline storms that can drop hail the size of tennis balls in between. We build every repair for that range: exterior caulks and paints that tolerate brutal sun, hardware that won't rust out after a wet spring, fence posts set deep enough to ride out a windy March, and doors adjusted with an eye on how clay soil moves the slab from season to season.

A Straight Price Before Work Starts

You'll know the number before a single tool comes off the truck. Most jobs can be priced from a few photos and a short call, and the bigger ones get a free look in person. The hours stay honest, and the bill at the end matches the number we gave you at the start. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall or under a sink, we stop, show you, and talk it over before going further.

One Visit for the Whole List

Most homes here don't need a big contractor; they need someone to knock out ten small things properly. Hand us the list: the scaled-up faucet, the door that won't latch since last summer, the ceiling fan you bought on sale, the gate that drags on the caliche. We arrive stocked, work straight down it, and leave the place clean.

Local, and Easy to Reach Later

We work the same streets you drive, from Sherwood Way and Knickerbocker to Bryant Boulevard and the Loop. When we say Thursday morning, we mean Thursday morning, and if anything we fixed isn't right a month later, you call the same number and get the same people back out.

Areas We Roll Through

We're based in San Angelo and cover the whole city plus the communities around it, about a 20-mile reach across the Concho Valley. That runs from Grape Creek and Carlsbad up US 87 on the northwest side to Lake Nasworthy, Wall and Christoval on the south and east.

Three Easy Steps

Tell us what's nagging you

Call, text a photo, or send the form. A sentence and a snapshot is plenty — we'll ask if we need more.

Say yes to a clear price

You'll see the number before we load the trailer. Approve it, pick a time, and that's the whole negotiation.

Enjoy a shorter list

We arrive when we said, do the work carefully, tidy up, and walk you through it before we wave goodbye.

Got a list? Let's shorten it.

One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
